About us

The mission of the STEM Hub is to create a center of academic discovery, interactive technology, collaboration, and social connection among students in STEM. We work to push toward the advancement of EOP students within the STEM fields. The STEM Hub is also a place where students can go to find a quiet and calm place to study and meet with a peer advisor for guidance and support. You can also reserve a cubicle space ahead of time for you and your peers to hold your group study sessions. We also offer spacious study spaces that are named after well-known women in science and each cubicle is equipped with whiteboards and markers for students to use. In collaboration with Learning Support Services (LSS), tutoring sessions such as small group tutoring (SGT) for several STEM courses are offered. It is centrally located on Science Hill to support the retention and graduation of STEM students at UCSC.
